Union Station to Georgetown EA Public Meeting @ Carnegie Library at Mt. Vernon Square, L'Enfant Map Room

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) invite you to attend a Public Meeting for the Union Station to Georgetown Transportation Improvements Environmental Assessment. This Public Meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 2 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Carnegie Library at Mt. Vernon Square in the L’Enfant Map Room, at 801 K Street NW.

The purpose of this meeting is to afford the public an opportunity to discuss the project and provide their views regarding the multi-modal transportation alternatives being consided for all modes – streetcar, vehicular, transit, bicycle and pedestrian – in the corridor. An Environmental Assessment (EA) is being prepared for the project per the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA), National Park Service (NPS) and National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) are cooperating agencies for this EA.
